He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Datcher and Mary Datcher; his son Winston, Jr.; his great grandchild Zuri; and his siblings, Florence, Sydney, William, Milton, Chester, Frank, Rudolf, Reginald, Phillip and Charles.

He is survived by: his wife Arnetta Smith; his children, Randy (Shirley), Ricky (Irene), Claudette (Reuben), Wendy (Ronnie) and Vanessa (Bill); his sisters, Geraldine Swann and Marie Young; his nephew Gerald (Mildred); and his cousin Mickey (Ruby). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
