It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Marie Jenkins of Nanjemoy, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Carlene L. Windsor; her sister Linda Niccum (Harold Niccum); and her mother Hazel Elias. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin F. Jenkins Sr.; her children, Carmen M. Lamb and Benjamin F. Jenkins Jr.; her son-in-law Thomas E. Windsor Jr.; her grandchildren, Thomas E. Windsor III, Ashley Shipley (Teddy Shipley), William Jenkins, Brandy Jones (Josh Jones) and Douglas Lamb II; her great grandchildren, Avery Shipley, Camdyn Shipley, Brogan Jenkins, Gabriel Lamb, Kathleen Lamb, Elsbeth Lamb, Luna Mitchell and Tiwaz Jones; and her sister Hazel Graff. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
