He is survived by: his children, Jerry Grinder (Cheri), Mary Goddard (Matthew), James Grinder (Lindsey) and Eric Doctrow; his grandchildren, Taylor, Keirstin Perez, Wesley Goddard and Hailey Grinder; his child Kyle Foster; his great grandchildren, Mason, Travis and Graceleigh Dodson; his brother George Bowie (Arleen); his in-laws, James (Shari) and Sally Thompson; his close friend Ronnie Wilburn; and his cousin Charles "Bootsie" Bowie.
