He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Davis and Elizabeth David Van Valkenburg. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Van Valkenburg-Abell; his wife Darlene Savage Van Valkenburg; his son-in-law Jason Abell; his son Christopher David Van Valkenburg; his granddaughter Kinsley Elizabeth Abell; and his brother Fred Davis Van Valkenburg. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A prayer will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Queen of Peace Cemetery (38888 Dr Johnson Rd, Mechanicsville, MD 20659).
