He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Francis Hinkle and Mabel Sarah Heinly Hinkle; his son Wayne Eric Hinkle; and his siblings, Robert, Kenneth, George, Bruce, Paul, Wayne Hinkle and Mabel Yurkonis.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth E. Grossnickle Hinkle; his children, Francene Zeigler (Mike), Dean Hinkle (Shelly) and Mark Hinkle (Heather); his grandchildren, Kelsey Brandenburg, Aaron Brandenburg, Olivia Zeigler, Sadie, Jack and Levi Hinkle; his great grandchildren, James Stansbury, Gracelyn Yohe, Abigail and Jackson Brandenburg; his sister Anna Filiziani; his sisters-in-law, Bernice Hinkle and Catherine Hinkle; and his children, Teri, David and Douglas.
