It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rachel W. Hahn-Warfield of Myersville, Maryland, born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. Waters and Altie M. Waters (Younkins); her husband William Warfield; and her siblings, Miriam Kopp, Jean Sandifer and Calvin Waters.

She is survived by: her daughters, Myra Jean Hahn and Brenda Lynn Franz (William); and her sister-in-law Miriam Reed. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department, 702 N. Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.
