She was predeceased by: her son Michael Haveron Slaughter; and her son-in-law William D. Jefferies. She is survived by: her spouse Lt. Stephen F. Slaughter; her siblings, Barbara Broderick of Bunker Hill, NH and Thomas Baldridge of Iowa City, Iowa.; her daughter Adele Slaughter (Jeff Kober) of Studio City; her daughter-in-law Crystal Slaughter (Swenson); and her grandchildren, Alexander Woolverton (Marie Barnett), Andrew Jefferies (Meredith Barlow) of Richmond, Jake Jefferies (Nina Freeman) of Portland, Emma Jefferies of Roanoke, Kerry Jefferies Hackney (Ben) of Edenton, NC, Nina Jefferies (Andy Chatham) of Los Angles, Stephen Hough of Hagerstown, Marlow Slaughter (Brittany Buck), Michael Brock Slaughter and Catherine Reeves (JaredReeves). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
