She was predeceased by: her parent Norman Merrbach; her husband George H. Smith, Sr.; and her sister Vivian Merrbach. She is survived by: her parent Mary Merrbach (Frankenberry); her sons, George H. Smith, Jr. (Georgette), Mount Savage and David N. Smith, Sr. (Barb); her grandson David N. Smith, Jr. (Carlee Beal); her son George A. Koontz; and her sister-in-law Susan Kline. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
