It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matthew Scott Robertson of Mount Savage, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Lauren Filer; his stepfather Todd Kennell; and his grandfather Charles Robertson. He is survived by: his parents, Ricky Ellsworth Sturtz and Michele Pauline Filer (Robertson); his siblings, Mikayla Filer and Evenn Filer; his nieces, Rose, Lauren, Sienna and Lily; his grandmother Gayle Kenney; his uncle Charles "Chuck" Robertson; and also, Brandon Sturtz (family: Jason Shoemaker, Scott, Haden DeHaven) and Shayna Logsdon. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to offset expenses. Matthew's life will live on through his organ donation that will give life and happiness to many.
