He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Hott and Elizabeth Hott (Lewis); and his son Darrin M. Hott. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen LaRue Hott (Martz); his children, Tracy L. Carney (Mark) and James Eric; his granddaughter Laureen Hott; and his siblings, Roy Hott, Dale Hott (Carolyn) and Pam Kline. He is also survived by numerous niece, nephews.
