He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Witt and Emma Witt (Spiker); his wife Joan Yvonne Witt; his brother Cordell; and his daughter Jeannine Seekamp.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Witt, Dean Witt (Barb Mason) and Denise (Wesley Kroll); his son-in-law Bobby Seekamp; and his grandchildren, Adam Lewis, Justin Lewis, Douglas Robey, Autumn Green, Jeremy Jenkins, Mikaela Deneen, Haleigh Dwire, Jessyca Kimble, Christopher Loar, Hannah Kroll (Anthony Wilson), Emily Kroll (Josh Yost), Emery Kroll and Alissa Kroll. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Durst Funeral Home (57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD 21532). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
