He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C. Dyson, and Grace A. Dyson, Sr. of Mountain City, TN.; his wife Nancy Lee Sipple; and his siblings, Mary Joan Dunn, Peggy Carol Dunn, Ray Steven Dyson and Judy Lynn Vann.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Lawrence Dyson (Wen) of Stafford, VA and Gary L. Dyson (Emily) of Mount Airy, MD; his grandchildren, Samuel Taylor Dyson (Casey), Katharine Dyson-Rieth (Zachary) and Sarah Jiana Dyson; his great grandchild Jonah Thomas Dyson; and his siblings, Jimmy Wade Dyson and Kathy Dixon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Baptist Church in Gaithersburg, or to an organization dedicated to the elimination of the pain from kidney stones.
