It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary B. Goundry of Mount Airy, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 84, on January 20, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick W. "Fred" Goundry, Jr.; her parents, John E. McKee and Mary Kathryn McKee; and her brother John E. McKee, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Ed Goundry (Carol) of Frederick, Matt Goundry (Debbie) of Mt. Airy and Jenny McCoy (Rob) of Mt. Airy; her grandchildren, Will Goundry (Andi), Ben Goundry, Lily McCoy, Luke Goundry, Kate Goundry and Rachel McCoy; her great grandchildren, Charlie and Lainey Goundry; and her siblings, Patricia McKee, Kathy McKee, Therese McKee-Hungate (Doug), Frank McKee (Mo) and Joe McKee (Ruth).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home (8 E Ridgeville Blvd, Mt Airy, MD 21771). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (118 E 2nd St, Frederick, MD 21701).
