He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary B. "Bonnie" Goundry; his parents, Dr. Frederick Goundry and Genevieve Goundry of Binghamton, NY.; his siblings, Donald Goundry, Dorothy Johnson and Diane Brown; his children, Ed Goundry (Carol) of Frederick, Matt Goundry (Debbie) of Mt. Airy and Jenny McCoy (Rob) of Mt. Airy; and his grandchildren, Will Goundry (Andi), Ben Goundry, Lily McCoy, Luke Goundry, Kate Goundry, Rachel McCoy and Charlie Goundry.

Memorial donations can be made to Frederick Health Hospice.
