He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Helen Brandenburg Browning; his parents, J. Monroe Browning and Nannie L. Thompson Browning; his daughter Marlene Carol Browning; his granddaughter Crescent Carol Martin; and his siblings, William Browning, James M. Browning, C. Hanford Browning, Algie Staley, Louise B. Hudgins and Evelyn M. Crum.
He is survived by: his children, Lynette Martin (Ronald) of Leesburg, VA and Gary M. Browning (Jacqueline) of Joppa, MD; his grandchildren, Jason Martin, Susanna Koder (Bob), Joel Martin, Schehera Marshall (Avery), Nathan Browning (Diana), Gena Amos (Michael) and Timothy Browning (Kim); his great grandchildren, Eden Wynn (Tim), Deborah Martin, Nicholas Lawrence, Lindy Lawrence, Ulrike Martin, Micah Browning, Layla Browning, Logan Amos, Brooklyn Amos and Dominic Browning; and his great great grandchildren, Annie, Ally, Xena, Timothy and Haiden Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
