It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Shirley Savage of Mount Airy, Maryland, born in Dickerson, Maryland, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Savage and Irene Savage; and his son Charles "Ricky" Savage. He is survived by: his children, Shirley Burdette (Jeff) and David "Mark" Savage (Angie); his grandchildren, Ashley Clinton, Jill Carr, Derek Savage, Brandi Burdette, Kristina Savage, Brooke Green and Brittney Zavona; and his great grandchildren, Breanna Clinton, Alisha Clinton, Levi Savage, Bentley Knill, Maci "Peanut" Rill and Audrey Yingling.
In remembrance of Donald's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or The Maryland Draft Horse and Mule Association.
