She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vincent Schwing and Louisa Storath Schwing; her siblings, Mary Louise (Ferris), Elizabeth "Betty" (Frech) and Frederick "Freddie" Schwing; her husband Frederick Bernard Offermann; her daughters, Janet Louise (Jennings) and Kristin Elizabeth (Melgaard); her sons-in-law, Scott Jennings and Mark Melgaard; and her grandchildren, Maryann Jennings, Thomas, Joseph and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Melgaard.
