It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Epstein of Montgomery Village, Maryland, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Marty Epstein; her children, Amy Brochstein (Steve) and Brad Epstein (Randi); and her grandchildren, Logan Rose Brochstein and Parker Reid Epstein.

“Ellen and I were best friends all through high school and beyond. We were in each other’s weddings and then shared stories about our children and grandchildren. We lost touch for a while but reconnected when we talked every few years to catch up. I will treasure my wonderful memories of our decades’ old friendship. She was a warm and caring person and I will miss her. Marty, I was so saddened to hear of Ellen’s passing and my heart goes out to you and your family. Laurie Sandberg”
