He was predeceased by: his parent William Sherman. He is survived by: his spouse Sue Dianne Mellott (Drinkard); his parent Helen Louise Mellott (Martin); his daughters, Robin Whitney Mellott, Paula Joell Carney and Jennifer Dawn Webster (Paul); his grandchildren, William Harris Tucker (Melanie), Shane Alan Tucker, Rachel Dianne Kern (Andrew), Peter Riley Gillard, Matthew Lee Carney and Grace Catherine Gillard; his great grandchildren, William Tucker, McKinley Kern, Reagan Kern and Evelyn Tucker; and his siblings, Cynthia Mellott and Russell Mellott (Lee). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
