He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, David, Amy Thompson of Glen Allen, Virginia, Kevin, Annie Thompson of Burlington, Kelly and Michael Yudt of Frederick, Maryland; his grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob Butcher, Matthew, Meghan, Max, Ella Thompson, Caleb, Joshua and Nathanael Yudt; his siblings, Franklin Thompson (Carol) and Carolyn Magers; and his brother-in-law Will Marshall.
