It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Eugene Hargett Sr. of Monrovia, Maryland, born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Connie Hargett; his parents, Ralph L. Hargett and Eleanor G. Hargett; and his son Randy Hargett. He is survived by: his children, Glenda Bussard (Rick) of Monrovia, Rick Hargett (Beth) of Brunswick and Tammy Albaugh (Michael) of Keymar; his siblings, Bob Hargett of Boonsboro, Peg Arnold of Adamstown, Patsy Stockman of Frederick and Sharon MacKenzie of Frederick; and his brother-in-law Sam Brown of Burkittsville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
