In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Melanie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Melanie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Marilyn Freese (Jacobs); her stepfather Jon Freese (Jack); her father Robert Stith; her brothers, Jeff Stith and Eric Stith; and her children, Jason Christopher Moyer and Emily Brooke Moyer.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Landsdale Community Center (4500 Arboretum Dr, Monrovia, MD 21770). She was only a few credits and a thesis shy of receiving her doctorate, and she was in the process of becoming a principal before the COVID-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, Melanie's family requests donations in her memory to one of the following charities: ● METAvivor - METAvivor is the only organization that solely funds MBC research through a scientific peer review process.
