Loretta Mae Jeffers Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2022, at the age of 73, Loretta Mae Jeffers of Monrovia, Maryland, born in Boyds, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dickie" Jeffers; her parents, Herman H. Fitzwater and Nellie V. Fitzwater (Cullers); her son Richard "Ricky" Jeffers, Jr.; her siblings, Herman Fitzwater, Jr., Kevin Fitzwater, Armer Fitzwater, Ina Hanes and Vada Stottlemyer; and her brother-in-law Danny Jeffers.

She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Leppo (Michael) of Monrovia, MD; her sister Mary Virts of Boyds, MD; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Allnutt of Boyds, MD, Mary Young (Tom) of Damascus, MD, Eleanor Wilkinson of Dickerson, MD, Barbara Richards of Gaithersburg, MD, Lucille Fitzwater of Hagerstown, MD and David Jeffers (Kathy) of Poolesville, MD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy or ASPCA.
