He was predeceased by: his sister Lucy Snouffer. He is survived by: his spouse Betty; his children, Brenda Proper (Richard) of Upperco, Nancy Sutherland of Mt, Airy and Daniel Peck of Kauai; his grandchildren, Rachel Proper, Anna Carson, Christopher Knotts, Katie Cavey, Sarah Peck, Melissa Peck, Jacob Peck and Julia Peck; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Kevin, Rebecca, Matthew, Christopher, Justin and James.
