He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Simpson and Grace Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Simpson; and his children, Gary Simpson, Jr. (Connie) of Millersville, MD, Elizabeth Stiffler of Delaware, Julie Simpson (Chris Grimes) of North Carolina and Emily Bell (Ryan) of Thurmont, MD.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Gary's honor to a charity of your choice.
