He is survived by: his children, Trevor Stears (Deborah) of Monrovia, MD, Gary Stears of Pennsylvania and Carol Anne Kelly of Monrovia, MD.; and his sister Faith Laslett of England. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
