She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Melvin and Eva "Schwatka" Melvin; her husband Howard Squires; her siblings, Esther Walters and Carl Austin Melvin Sr.; and her grandson Austin Joel Nicholas Squires.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Squires (Sandy) of Millington and Steve Squires (Donna) of Millington, MD; her grandchildren, Jan Marie Squires of Crisfield, Andrew Tyler Squires of Millington, MD, Alex Brayden Squires of Millington, MD and Collin Shane Squires of Millington, MD; her great grandchild Jessica Marie Leager of Crisfield; and her sister Janice Lee Teat of Warwick, MD..
