He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma S. Kingsbury and Arthur M. Kingsbury, Sr.; his son Robert C. Kingsbury, Jr.; and his brother Arthur Mack Kingsbury Jr.. He is survived by: his former wife Mildred R. Thomas; his wife Polly Kingsbury; and his children, William T. Kingsbury (Jayne) of Jacksonville, FL, Barry L. Kingsbury (Paige) of Barclay, MD, Jeffrey A. Kingsbury (Tami) of Baltimore, MD and Joanne Doelp (Francis) of Exton, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
