He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Reece and Fay Reece; his former wife Ruth Ann (Clough); his son William Pierce, III; his grandson Joshua Pierce; and his brothers, Bruce "Ceasar" Reece and Ronald Reece.
He is survived by: his wife June; his siblings, Dale Reece and Lisa Sipple (Reece); his children, Robert "Bob" Pierce, David "Bruce" Pierce and Lori Manning (Pierce); his grandchildren, Bobby Pierce, Joel Pierce, Marcelo Grasso, Christopher Grasso, William Pierce, IV, Elizabeth Wilkerson, Ashley Pierce, Sara Pierce and Bruce Pierce; and his stepdaughters, Lori Marino, Angela Hurlock, Donna Ruth and Crystal Ruth. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
