She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Manley and Mary "Lipscomb" Manley; and her brothers, Charles Manley, Melvin Manley and Ronald Manley.
She is survived by: her husband William Emory Purnell of Millington, MD; her daughters, Sue Winborne (Lawrence) of Sudlersville, MD and Melinda Sharp (Mark) of Centreville, MD; and her brother William Manley of Sudlersville, MD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
