It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Jeffers Cotton of Millington, Maryland, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Jeffers Sr. and Anna "Wilson" Jeffers; her husband Jame A. Cotton Jr.; her siblings, Clarence, Thomas, Ethel, Mildred, Arnold, Arnett, Violet, Marlene, Dorothy, Irene, Alvin and Wendell; and her son-in-law Darryl Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Doretha Cotton and Latanya Simmons; her granddaughters, DeShanna Cotton and Summer Harmon; her siblings, Annetta Taylor and James Jeffers; and her friends, Jean and Joe Archer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
