He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Poteet and Marie Poteet (Lewis); his former wife Theresa (Bazzaro); and his siblings, Jerome, George, Louis, Dolores, Pauline and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Bancroft); his sisters, Marie Chandler of Pasadena and Annette Schascheck of Crownsville; and his extended family, George, Ray Poteet and Laverne Smith.
