Nancy Kelso Erskine Obituary
Nancy K Erskine of Millersville MD died peacefully 3 April from complications of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She was born in Houlton ME on 29 November 1943, daughter of Sherwood and Elizabeth Kelso. She was educated in Presque Isle ME schools and obtained her degree from the University of Maine, and Master's degrees from Syracuse University and the University of Maryland School of Library Science. When not traveling the world of her husband's military duty stations and raising her two sons, she was a teacher, a part-time archeologist, and avid reader, a lover of Airedale Terriers and Tonkinese cats, and a serious cook. She was a Librarian in Prince Georges County MD, retiring in 2011 as the Manager of the Bowie branch. She served as lay leader and council president of Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by husband Capt USN (ret) of Millersville, son John Jr (Darlene) of Brussels, Belgium, and son Matthew (Jenni) of Lakewood CO, and her beloved granddaughters.
