She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Eva Thomas; her husband Herschell B. Woodson of Gambrills, Maryland.; her daughters, Marilyn McCall and Vashti McGowan; and her siblings, Leroy Thomas, Eva Thomas and Ellen Wells.
She is survived by: her cousin Lucy Aulton; her daughters, Darlene White (Jay) and Marcella Conway (Harold); her stepson Lawrence Woodson; her stepgrandchildren, Shelly and Lawrence Jr.; her grandchildren, Dante, Shannon, Juwan McGowan, Charlelle Brooke and Imani Conway; her great grandchildren, Jayda McGowan and Nicholas Conway; and her siblings, Darnell Jones (Belve) and Ann Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
