She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Garvey (John) and Pam Besteman (Karst); her grandchildren, Shannon, Ryan (Tim), William (Johanna) and Jack (Jaime); her great grandchildren, Malea, Tyler, Caleb, Cooper, Dominic and Stella; her great great grandchild Chandler; her brother Thomas McCarty (Mary) of New Mexico; her nieces and nephews, Tom, Julie, Kathy, Joan, Margaret and Stephen Sole (Arizona); and her friend Ramala Basu (Virginia).
