He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Wade and Lillie Mae Coley Cox. He is survived by: his wife Makiko "Yumi" Cox; his children, Brian Wade Cox (Erin) of New Market, MD and Amanda Hughes (Anthony) of Millersville; and his grandchildren, Evan Wade and Morgan E. Cox.
