With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Barbara Goodwin of Millersville, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles and Josephine; her nephew Robert E. Davies; and her niece Suzanne Maxa Albers. She is survived by : her husband Edward L. Goodwin of Maryland; her children, Barbara G. Dean (Robert) of Maryland and Edward C. Goodwin (Lisa) of Maryland; her siblings, Sister Patricia M. Maxa and Charles Maxa (Laurena) of Maryland; and her grandchildren, Robert H. Dean (Annie) of Maryland, Nicholas E. Dean of Maryland, Benjamin C. Dean of Maryland and Noelle D. Dean of Montana.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barranco Funeral Home (495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Roman Catholic Church (689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146). A burial was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery (7401 German Hill Rd, Dundalk, MD 21222).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park, MD, 21146 and/or to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD, 21122.
