He was predeceased by: his father Donald Snyder; his brother David; his son Wesley; his nephew Joshua; and his niece Carolyn.

He is survived by: his mother Norma Snyder (Arnold); his daughters, Rebecca and Rachel; and his siblings, Glen and Doris. He is also survived by three nephews.
