She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Fulton Hyde and Philadelphia "Delphia" Burns Hyde (Hunt); her husband Raymond "Smitty" Matthews; and her sister Maxine Metts. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Matthews (Bonnie) of Cumberland, Christopher Matthews of Cumberland and Anastasia Winebrenner (Jamie) of Midland; her grandchildren, Bonnie Swanger (Mike), Jeffrey Matthews (Stacy), Rodney Matthews, Dalton Whiteman, Cheyenne Whiteman and Payton Whiteman; her great grandchildren, Ayden, Isobel, Naomie and Serenity; her brother Rodney Hyde; and her close friends, Francis Keyes-Wilson and Wayne Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
