She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Blucker and Hilda Blucker (McGowan) of Midland, MD.; her son Joshua Dean Thrasher; her brother Thomas Blucker; and her brother-in-law Dennis Bartlett.

She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Nelson Thrasher, III; her children, John Nelson Thrasher, IV, Mark Thrasher and Mechele Thrasher (Jeff "Fuzz" Wilson); her grandchildren, John Nelson Thrasher, Aurora Thrasher and Maci Thrasher Wilson; and her siblings, Kay Bartlett, Judy Blucker Jamison (Jim) and Robert Blucker.
