He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William DeVault and Ida Mae DeVault (Beeman); his wife Alice Jean DeVault; his brothers, John and Daniel DeVault; and his nephew Joshua DeVault.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Charles DeVault, Stephen Daniel DeVault, Joseph Lee DeVault (Julie) and Patricia Jean Long (Steven). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
