She is survived by: her children, Shelia Broadwater (Buck Robertson), Carla McLaughlin (late Robert McLaughlin), Bruce Simmons Jr. (Melissa) and Sheryl Diehl (Bryan); her grandchildren, Steven Diggs (Bethany), Samuel Diggs (Meleana), Amanda Petenbrink (Richard), Zachary McLaughlin, Bruce Simmons III (Maranda), Cheri Baker (Jeremy), Derek Simmons (Jessica), Elliott Simmons (Cara), Christopher Diehl, Rachel Diehl and Russel Diehl (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Ambrose, Alena, Andrew, Sophia, Michelle, Katie, Nathan, Hunter, Isiah, Natalie, Lexie, Chloe, Liam, Jacob and Waylon; her siblings, Barbara Ewing, Patricia Jones, George McClure and Joseph McClure; her sister-in-law Bernadette Simmons; her nephew Scott; and her pet Coco. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
