He is survived by: his children, Eric Shafer, Walkersville, Steve Shafer and Branin Delaney (Sean); his grandchildren, Liam Delaney, Caitlin Delaney, Logan Shafer, Landon Shafer and Reid Shafer; and his siblings, John Shafer and Karen Koogle.
