He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Doody and Florence Doody (Marmon); his wife Joanne Marie Doody; his sisters, Helen Doody and Dorothy O'Brien; and his children, Andrea, Dennis and Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Doody (Janet) of Frederick, MD and Diane Cox (John) of Salisbury, NC.; his grandchildren, Rick Curran, Steve Curran, Taylor Wilson (Joshua Shaw) and Connor Wilson; and his close friend Pat Hesselbein. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
