She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard G. House and Mary Baker House; and her siblings, Darrell, Richard, Hank House, Anna, Mary "Kate" Katherine Willard, Phyllis House Grove Enfinger and Margaret "Peggy" House Alexander.
She is survived by: her husband Forden Hughes; her sons, Iaan Hughes (Leana) and Huntington Hughes; her grandchildren, Caleb Hughes, Eladio Hughes and Francisca Hughes; and her brother Dwayne House. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
