He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bridges and Dorothy Bridges. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Donna White (Bob), Matt Bridges (Lynne), Dennis Bridges (Kathy), Susan Eyler (Darren) and Retta Hudlow (Doug); and his sisters, Vivian Cobert and Bernita Spore. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
