It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lloyd Peter Shank Jr. (Middletown, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on March 11, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Peter Shank Sr. and Lucille Routzahn Shank. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Sandy" Shank; his children, Jimmy Shifflett (Renee), Terry Shifflett (Cindy), Wendy Shank Dixon (Bryan) and Jenny Rushing (Ronald); and his sister Sally Lyons. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 nephews; and several great-grandchildren.

There will not be a memorial service and, in lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Frederick County.
