She was predeceased by: her husband Richard T. Delaughter, Jr.; and her parents, John Leatherman and Ethel Delauter Leatherman. She is survived by: her children, Penny Aurand (Alan) of Gettysburg, PA, Sallie Delaughter of Hedgesville, WV, Richard T. Delaughter III (Dawn) of Abbottstown, PA and Kathy Delaughter of Nottingham, MD; her grandchildren, Matthew Fogle, Anthony Cowan, Amanda Garber, Ashlee Fogle, Samantha Bowers, Robert Aurand, Richard Jeffery and Jacob Delaughter; her siblings, John Wayne Leatherman (Bubba) and Kathy Gaver; and her sister-in-law Sherry Taylor of Monroe, NC.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
