It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Routzahn Jr. of Middletown, Maryland, born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Sr. and Virginia Groff Routzahn. He is survived by: his grandson John Thomas Routzahn III; his son John Thomas Routzahn IV of Middletown; his wife Sara Ann Routzahn; his daughter-in-law Gretchen Ann Steele (Randy Steele); his grandchildren, Clayton Kehne Steele, Andrew Charles Steele, Mitchell Thomas Steele of Ohio, Amy Louise Lowery (Carl Lowery), Adrienne Louise Lowery, Payton Lane Lowery and Brooke Aimee Lowery of Tennessee; and his sister Caroline Routzahn Wright (Frederick Christian Wright III) of Hagerstown. He is also survived by his three children.
