We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2021, Joan Willison (Willison) Hotz (Middletown, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband George Birchall; her son George; and her husband Robert Hotz.

In 2005 she persuaded a developer to donate the 1775 John Derr house, on Md. 26 to the Landmarks Foundation and aided its restoration.
